Green Schools
  • Dearborn Schools' Recycling Program

Conservation of resources is a critical issue in our world today. As we work to leave a better world for our children, programs exist in which they can participate in that effort. Let's make Dearborn a district with all Green Schools!

The websites of this category contain links to websites and information that directly correspond to our efforts to make all Dearborn schools GREEN.  Our goal is for all or our schools to become certified as "Green Schools" by Wayne County and, more importantly, for all of us to become more environmentally aware.

  • Gerhard Richter (1932)
Richter is considered one of the foremost German artists of the post-World War II period, and the prices his paintings fetch at auction reflect this distinction. Unwilling to settle on any one approach, Richter has varied his style from austere photorealism to pure abstraction. Richter's photo-paintings, which reproduce photographic images on canvas in exacting detail, explore the tension between reality and its depiction, between process and material.
